Patriotska Liga is a Bosnian war song and music video notable for containing the vocals and appearance of Bosnian singer Hanka Paldum.
Patriotska Liga BiH
It is a song devoted to the Patriotska Liga BiH paramilitary formation. Discussed by Alija Izetbegović and the SDA in December 1990 and eventually formed in early 1991, the unit was active throughout Bosnia and mainly Sarajevo. It dissolved sometime in 1992 with the creation of the Armija Republike BiH.[1]
Origins
It's unknown if the Patriotska Liga music video was a broadcast or a documentary and a VHS copy of the film has yet to be discovered. There's a possibility that Patriotska Liga is part of an Embex compilation VHS.
The only other piece of media to feature the Patriotska Liga song is a recording of the third anniversary of the Unit on the 31st of March 1994, where it's played on tape, suggesting a possible cassette release.
