Hanka Paldum (born 28 April 1956) is a Bosnian folk singer. She is most known for her sevdalinka work and her record label Sarajevo Disk. Her music is still widely known in ex-Yugoslavia and modern day Bosnia.
Early life
Hanka Paldum was born on 28 April 1956 in Čajnice, SFR Yugoslavia (present-day Bosnia and Herzegovina). At 7 years old she moved to Sarajevo and began singing in her school's choir in first grade. At the age of twelve she would start
