Bora Drljača was a Serbian Krajišnik singer, born on August 29th 1941 in the Independent State of Croatia. He was one of the most prominent folk singers in Ex-Yugoslavia.

His mother was shot and killed at the age of 19 by Ustaše in 1943, when Boro was only 3 years old. His father was a partisan and hid him in Grmeč. He was orphaned by the war, however still excelled in school in Bačka Topola and in Zemun. Boro started his career with EP records for PGP-RTB, which made his career take off after "Za Ljubav Tvoju" (selling gold) and "Ti Si Sve Što Želim" (selling silver). He performed in Western Europe, Australia, America, and for Serbian diasporas around the world. Boro sold over 5 million albums by his death. His death by colon cancer caused the reactions of many. The funeral was attended by the likes of Baja Mali Knindža, Goca Lazarević, and Stanojka "Ćana" Mitrović.

While some of his songs focus on being from Krajina, many of his songs are about love. Boro only made 2 patriotic albums during the 1990s, of which only 13 songs are patriotic.
