Background

On the 27th of May 1999, president Slobodan Milošević, along with four other senior officials had warrants issued by the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) due to their actions during the Kosovo War.[1] About two years later, on the 4th of April 2001, Milošević would be arrested after a stand-off with police, but would be held under corruption-related charges.[2] On the 28th of June, he would be authorized to be transferred to the Hague and would be transferred to the UN's detention unit the following day.[3]

While the release date is unknown, a general time frame of its release can be gathered from the contents of the tape. The song has no mention of Milošević's death, only his trial. The source of the single's cover image is a photo taken by Paul Veeker for Reuters, taken on the 13th of February 2002.[4] At earliest, the single would have been published around mid-late 2002 and at the latest March 2006, when Milošević died.[5]

The album's j-card is made of paper, which is unusual for a SuperTon release. The labels use a custom Cyrillic version of the typeface "Westminister".
