"Karađorđe diko" (Serbian Cyrillic: "Карађорђе дико", lit. "Karađorđe, Our Pride") is a song written by Rade Vidić. It initially appeared in the 1991 album, Srpske narodne pjesme and performed by Tintor. Tintor would redo the album two years later in 1993, though the lyrics would remain the same. In the same year, it would be performed by Ljubiša Kalas and featured as the last track in Ljubo Granata. While the first two verses and chorus are the same, the last verse is different.
Četri veka dugačka i mračna
Srbija jedom robovala
Dok u svome krilu nije
Čedo odnjihala
Dok u svome krilu nije
Čedo odnjihala
Karađorđe diko
Karađorđe rode
Poveo si Srbe
Do slobode
Poveo si Srbe
Do slobode
Oko sebe im'o si junake
Što su Srpske nosili barjake
Sa ponosom na Mišaru,
Čegru, Deligradu
Sa ponosom na Mišaru,
Čegru, Deligradu
Karađorđe diko
Karađorđe rode
Poveo si Srbe
Do slobode
Poveo si Srbe
Do slobode
[???]
Karađorđe diko
Karađorđe rode
Poveo si Srbe
Do slobode
Poveo si Srbe
Do slobode
Lyrics (English):
Four long and dark centuries
Serbia was once a slave
Until in her lap
She raised a son
Until in her lap
She raised a son
Karađorđe, our pride
Karađorđe, our brother
You led the Serbs
To freedom
You led the Serbs
To freedom
Around you, you had heroes
Who carried Serbian banners
With pride at Mišar,
Čegar, [and] Deligrad
With pride at Mišar,
Čegar, [and] Deligrad
Karađorđe, our pride
Karađorđe, our brother
You led the Serbs
To freedom
You led the Serbs
To freedom
[???]
Karađorđe, our pride
Karađorđe, our brother
You led the Serbs
To freedom
You led the Serbs
To freedom

Tvoj lik osta vječno u narodu
