"Soko" (Serbian Cyrillic: "Соко" , lit. "Falcon") is a song that is performed by prominent war singer Baja Mali Knindža. It marks the first song that Željko Jovanović worked on with Baja and is the second of three patriotic songs in the album, Igraju se delije. While not performed as often as his other, more popular works, it makes an occasional appearance in concerts with the most recent being in 2019.
Music and Lyrics
The song's contents has a man that commands a falcon to fly over Krajina and observe the damage done to his homeland. A variant of the instrumentals would appear in the 1996 Braća sa Dinare album, Plači voljena zemljo in the song, "Kućo moja rodna".
