"Nigde ništa nemam" is a song performed by Dragan Šaulić. It initially appeared on the album of the same name as the opening song. An alternate version appeared in the 1994 album, Zbog nje where it would be the last track. The original iteration of the song would be featured in the 2006 album Praznik as a bonus track as well as the greatest hits compilations, Hitovi and Najveći Hitovi in 2000 and 2013 respectively. "Nigde ništa nemam" is one of Dragan's most popular songs as the upload from his official YouTube channel currently has 203,000 views.
Music and lyrics
"Nigde ništa nemam" is a song about a man who has nothing to his name, but would do it again if he could. The original version starts with a drumroll, then guitars which then transitions to the song itself which is typical for an opening track. Like most songs on the album, a solo is played after the second (in this case, third) refrain of the chorus.
While the 1994 remains mostly the same, it has a few differences. Unlike the 1990 version, the 1994 version would heavily emphasize electronic instruments rather than real ones, which was typical for SuperTon at the time. In the original version, the song starts off with the chorus then the verse whereas the 1994 version starts with the verse. The second and third verses are rearranged, with the lyrics "Svi mi kažu da sam ja/čovek koji propada/" changed to "Svi mi kažu da sam ja/lutalica večita/". The chorus changes from "Nigde ništa nemam/sve sam popijo/da još jedan život živim/isto bih ga živeo/" to "Nigde ništa nemam/sve sam propijo/da još jedan život imam/isto bih ga živeo". These changes could be due to the fact that Cvetin Todorović wrote this version instead of Munib Alić who wrote the original.
