Borovo Selo

Borovo Selo (Serbian Cyrillic: Борово село), also known as U Borovu Srbija se brani (Serbian Cyrillic: У Борову Србија се Брани, lit. In Borovo, Serbia defends itself) is the debut album of Serb war singer Branko Marinković Lalić, released in 1991 by Diskos.

Background

The album consists of patriotic songs for the village as it was under attack in the same year. It is unknown if it was written during or after the Borovo Selo incident.

Release

Borovo Selo was released some time in 1991 by Diskos.

On November 10, 2020, the album was released on Youtube and digital music streaming services. However, the origins of the j-card image used as well as the audio is unknown. Despite having a presence present day, Diskos does not manage the rights to the album. Instead, the current rights holders are MINT Production.
