Background

The album is a production from folk lyricist and composer Novica Urošević. Danka Stojiljković, a prominent singer who would go on to work with Baja Mali Knindža in the early 2000's, provides backup vocals with Urošević.

Release

Bolje pijan nego star was released some time in 1995 by SuperTon.

There is only one known variant of the tape: a frosted cassette with labels closer to those seen on 1994 releases with a pattern of clef notes.

The album would be uploaded by SuperTon on modern digital platforms. Its rough audio quality is indicative of either a damaged master or poor recording.
