"Drma mi se na šubari cvet" (Serbian Cyrillic: "Дрма ми се на шубари цвет", lit. "The Flower on My Šubara Shakes") is a song performed by Željko Samardžić Panonac. It was some times mistaken for a title track due to its appearance on the album's cover.
Music and lyrics
The title of the song (and a part of the chorus) "Drma mi se na šubari cvet" derives from an old saying that has been a part of Serbian music for hundreds of years. However its documentation is so scarce, it is unknown if the flower was literal, a representation of a cockade that is sometimes seen adorning a šubara (a traditional winter hat), or if it has any meaning at all.
Lyrics
Lyrics:
Oj Srpkinjo, zakiti me cvetom
Jer od mene bolji ne hoda planetom
Jer od mene bolji ne hoda planetom
Zakiti me bombama, evo idem s’ bratom
Srpske zemlje braniti, srcem i granatom
Srpske zemlje braniti, srcem i granatom

Lyrics (English):
Oh Serb woman, adorn me with flowers
Because no one better than me walks this earth
Because no one better than me walks this earth
Adorn me with bombs, here I go with my brother
Serbian lands to defend, with heart and grenades
Serbian lands to defend, with heart and grenades
It shakes, the flower on my šubara shakes
No one, no one in the whole world can do anything to us
It shakes, the flower on my šubara shakes
No one, no one in the whole world can do anything to us
Oh Serbs, what can anyone do to us
My people, we are the strongest, when the brothers unite
My people, we are the strongest, when the brothers unite
And when the accordion plays with the machine gun
May the mother cry, who touches a Serb
May the mother cry, who touches a Serb
It shakes, the flower on my šubara shakes
No one, no one in the whole world can do anything to us
It shakes, the flower on my šubara shakes
No one, no one in the whole world can do anything to us
