This compilation would use songs from various albums over the course of the war. Some songs would be renamed such as "Boj na Kosovu" being renamed to "Himna Kosovu" and "Lepo nam je reko Sveti Sava" being renamed to "Samo sloga Srbina Spašava". The album would also be the second time "Obilić me zove" went under a different name: "Kosovo je Srpsko". The message on the j-card's back roughly translates to "against dark forces we fight with songs; songs supported us, thank God !!!" suggesting that the album was intended to be a "greatest hits" compilation for war music. Despite the album crediting Željko Jovanović as an arranger, Željko did not arrange any of the songs featured in the compilation.
