Srpska demokratska stranke Video-istorija srpske stranke u Hrvatskoj (Serbian Cyrillic: Српска демократска странке Видео-историја српске странке у Хрватској, lit. "Serbian Democratic Party Video- History of the Serbian Party in Croatia") is a documentary released in 1990 by Izdavačko-filmsko preduzeće „Braća Srbi“ Beograd - Knin. The documentary is about the establishment of the Croatian branch of the SDS who would become the leading party of SAO Kninska Krajina throughout the war.

Background

The documentary highlights the history of Serbs in Croatia and how it factored towards the formation of the SDS. It spotlights Jovan Rašković, the party's founder as well as Milan Babić who took over party leadership late 1990. Some speeches from Rašković are featured throughout the film.

The film's soundtrack is comprised publicly available music featuring tracks from Muzika stare Srbije crkveni napevi od 14. do 18. veka and 70 godina od proboja sopunskog fronta 1918 - 1988.

Release

Srpska demokratska stranke Video-istorija srpske stranke u Hrvatskoj was released some time in 1990 by Izdavačko-filmsko preduzeće „Braća Srbi“ Beograd - Knin. 700 copies were made within its print run. Despite the catalog number being present, it is not known if the SDS or „Braća Srbi“ produced anything else.

In 2014, the official SDS YouTube channel uploaded the VHS, though in poor quality.
