Background
On the cassette labels, Ljubomir Ranković is credited for instruments and vocals, though the songs come from the Gedža albums 12 najlepših četničkih pesama and its 18-song counterpart.
The cover image used is a slightly altered photo of the Ravna Gora Movement leader Draža Mihailović in 1937.
Release
Četničke pesme was released in July 1990, "Zalson" Šabac. Most of the songs published in this album were also featured in 12 najlepših četničkih pesama which was published in the same year.
