Oj, Manjačo (Serbian Cyrillic: Ој, Мањачо, lit. "Oh, Manjača"), also known as Oj, Manjačo Banjaluko srpki rode (Serbian Cyrillic: Ој, Мањачо Бањалуко српски роде, lit. "Oh Manjača, Banja Luka is Native to Serbs") is the debut album of Serb war singer, Neđo sa Manjače. While the release year is debated, it is assumed that the album's release year was in 1993 since the album's Swiss distributor, RTVJ, would begin operations that year.

Release

Oj, Manjačo released some time in 1993 by Master in Yugoslavia and Germany. It would also receive a Swiss distribution by RTVJ. This album infamously has discrepancies with the catalog numbers as the German release has the number 9018 and the domestic release using both Swiss and German catalog numbers 9309 and 9018 respectively.

With the exception of the recording studio, orchestra, and tone master, the album has overlapping production staff with the album that comes next sequentially in Master's catalog, Ljubo Granata. The image used for the j-card has some sort of filter on it as an unaltered version can be seen on the RTVJ compilation, Koktel srpskih pevača. Two tracks from the album, "Oj, Manjačo" and "Aoj Gojko ljuta zmijo" would be featured on the compilation.

Since Master has be known to rerelease pre-existing albums under their label, it is speculated that the original publisher was Melos due to the style of arrangement from Slavko Mitrović Cale, though there has been nothing to substantiate the claim.
